Thanks to its location between the Low Tauern ridge and the Dachstein massif, Gröbming offers excellent winter activities and abundant snowfall.

You don't have to go far to go cross-country skiing. Right on the western and eastern edges of Gröbming, there are cross-country trails with groomed tracks for classic skiers and skaters. In 20 minutes, you can reach one of the best cross-country skiing areas in the world – the Ramsau am Dachstein resort.
