Yes, we admit: the Bavarian Forest isn’t the Alps. You won’t find breathtaking snow-capped three-thousand-metre peaks here, and the largest local ski resort, Grosser Arber, doesn’t offer endless kilometres of slopes like Sölden or Saalbach-Hinterglemm.

Nevertheless, we’re delighted to add to our portfolio apartments in the completely refurbished four-star Hotel BERGlässig Bodenmais, which is situated on the German side of the Šumava Mountains, just 20 km from the Czech border.
