Apartment amenities

The brand new building will consist of only eight apartments. It will be built in a modern style combining glass, stone, and wood. As a result, it will offer a luxurious and modern environment, ideal for both short stays and longer vacations.

All apartments will have a spacious living room with a generous kitchenette, one or two separate bedrooms, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Each apartment will also have a balcony or terrace, with ground floor apartments having front gardens.

Altenmarkt-Zauchensee and the Ski Amadé region

Altenmarkt-Zauchensee is the true heart of Ski Amadé, the largest interconnected ski area in Austria and the second largest one in Europe. A network of twenty-eight ski resorts and towns on the border between Salzburg and Styria offers an incredible 760 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes served by 270 modern lifts.

The location itself combines the traditional Alpine village of Altenmarkt with the purely sporting resort of Zauchensee, which is also famous for its Alpine Ski World Cup races.

Altenmarkt is easily accessible, even from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It is located just 2.5 kilometers from the A10 motorway between Salzburg and Villach and directly on a railway line between Schladming and Bischofshofen.

Thanks to its location, Altenmarkt is an ideal starting point for discovering a wide range of winter and summer activities:

Winter activities

  • Alpine skiing: The Altenmarkt-Zauchensee area includes two separate ski resorts, Radstadt-Altenmarkt and Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl, with a total of 82 kilometers of slopes.
  • Freeriding & fun parks: Zauchensee is one of the top freeriding areas and also offers attractive snow parks.
  • Cross-country skiing: Altenmarkt and its immediate surroundings offer an extensive network of cross-country trails, including panoramic circuits.
  • Wellness and relaxation: The Therme Amadé water park and sauna world offer relaxation after a day of sports and entertainment for children.

Summer activities

  • Hiking and mountain biking: Hundreds of kilometers of marked trails lead through mountain meadows and to summit viewpoints.
  • Lake Zauchensee: a peaceful place to relax, swim, and as a starting point for trips into the mountains.

Radstadt (approx. 20 km of slopes, 6 km from Altenmarkt) – a well-organized family resort and a popular toboggan run.
