The famous Ski Amadé ski area needs no introduction.
With its 28 ski resorts and 860 kilometers of slopes, it is the second largest interconnected ski area in Europe, which is also very easily accessible from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It has long been one of the most popular Austrian destinations for Czech and Slovak skiers.
Similarly, Schladming is no stranger to fame. Who hasn't heard of the iconic Planai slope leading to the town center, famous for its annual Men's World Cup night slalom, one of the most popular races of the ski season?
On a south-facing slope immediately above the town, with beautiful views of the town and the Planai ski area, there is a well-established and popular complex of three apartment buildings called SUN LODGE Schladming.
The apartment complex was built in 2016 and is completely sold out. Currently, there are 3 apartments for sale, which their current owners (after a significant increase in the value of their investment) have decided to sell to other interested parties.

The apartments are intended for mandatory tourist rental purposes.
Owners have the option of using their apartment for private stays for a period of 4 weeks during the high season (2 weeks in winter, 2 weeks in summer). During the low season, the extent of private stays can be individually agreed with the operator.
The operator is the well-known local agency Schladming-Appartements, which handles all apartment management and rental for tourist accommodation purposes, i.e.:
The popular resort is located a 10-minute walk from the town center and a 3-minute drive from the lower station of the Planai and Hochwurzen ski lifts.
It consists of three apartment buildings surrounded by extensive lawn area.
All apartments within the resort face south and have a terrace with a garden or a loggia with a unique panoramic view of Schladming and the Planai ski area. The combination of basic materials - wood, stone, and glass - creates a pleasant atmosphere and provides plenty of light in all rooms. Each apartment has a modern kitchenette with all the necessary equipment, such as a refrigerator, dishwasher, convection oven, toaster, coffee maker, etc. All rooms are furnished with modern, light-colored furniture and cable TV.
The resort has a shared reception where you can buy a ski pass or rent a car. There is a ski and bike storage room, and - as a much-appreciated bonus - a self-service vending machine with basic groceries (milk, beer, wine) and toiletries.
One of the main reasons why guests like to return to Sun Lodge is the spacious wellness centre. It covers an area of 280 m² and includes an indoor pool, Finnish sauna, steam bath, lounge with a fireplace, relaxation area, and rooms for massages and beauty treatments. The outdoor wooden terrace and garden with sun loungers are a perfect spot for relaxing. The focus is always on the fascinating view – even from the sauna, you can enjoy the surrounding mountain panorama.
A ski bus stops right next to the resort and will take you to the lower station of the Planai cable car in just a few minutes.
The Planai ski area, located in the immediate vicinity of Schladming, is famous for its World Cup races and annual concerts featuring the biggest music stars. The resort is connected by cable cars and ski slopes to the neighbouring resorts of Hauser Kaibling, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm.
Together, they form part of the Ski Amadé region, which, with its 25 ski resorts and 860 kilometres of slopes, is one of the largest winter sports areas in Europe with 263 kilometres of slopes, 81 lifts and world-famous resorts such as Flachau, Zauchensee and St. Johann.
The plateau above Schladming and below the slopes of Dachstein, the highest mountain in the region, are also a mecca for cross-country skiers. The mountain meadows around the village of Ramsau am Dachstein are criss-crossed by more than 200 kilometres of groomed cross-country trails.
