Italian ski resorts will be more expensive, some may not open for this winter season

As a result of increase of energy prices, ski resorts in Italy plan a considerable increase of ski pass fees. According to information from the Italian media, some resorts are even considering not to open for the upcoming winter season.

For one-day ski passes, the price increase should be around 10 percent, for ski passes

covering a longer period, the change of fees shall be less significant. Yet the rise of fees will not reflect the entire increase of energy costs that occurred during 2022.
