Basic information

La Dent Blanche (or "the white tooth" in English) is a beautiful iconic 4000-meter peak in the Swiss canton of Valais, not far from the better-known Matterhorn. Just between Dent Blanche and the Rhone Valley, you can find the largest Swiss ski area Les 4 Vallées, with more than 400 kilometers of pistes. Its eastern part ends by the mountain village of Hérémance. This is where the new hotel complex called Dent Blanche Resort, with a total of 87 comfortable apartments is currently being built. Within a walking distance from the ski lifts, the resort will be spread over nine buildings, which will contain a restaurant, bar, shops and a luxury wellness center open all year round.

The development project is expected to be completed at the end of 2024.

Return on Investment / Personal use

Like in some parts of Austria, the pressure from local residents resulted in legislative obstacles against any further construction of new apartments allowing unlimited private stays of their non-resident owners.

Thanks to the fact that its apartments are designated for tourist rental, Dent Blanche Resort is exempt from any legal restrictions. Buyers conclude a contract with the operating agency, which will ensure all administration and operation, i.e.:

  • offer on accommodation portals (Booking, AirBnB),

  • presentation of accommodation at its own website, optimised for search engines,

  • receipt of payments for the accommodation,

  • guest management (reservations, check-in/out),

  • apartment cleaning, including bed linen change,

  • maintenance and minor repairs.

 

​The owner has the opportunity to use his apartment for private purposes for 6 weeks per year.

Apartment equipment / available services

The hotel complex is being built by the local renowned company "Horizon Montagne", which proved its high quality standards and respect for the environment. The facades are clad with natural stone and larch wood to blend in perfectly with the surroundings.

 

Due to its location on an eastern slope and orientation to the south and east, the complex will have plenty of sunlight, even during the winter season.

 

In the hotel resort, guests will have a wine bar and a restaurant with a panoramic terrace where they will be able to enjoy traditional Alpine cuisine or an afternoon coffee with a view of the surrounding Alpine panorama.

 

In the luxurious wellness center, they will find both an indoor pool and a jacuzzi, a sauna,

a hammam and a massage room. The youngest guests will enjoy a game room and a kids' club.

On top of that, the complex will also include:

  • shop and rental of skis and bikes,

  • small supermarket

  • reception with unlimited operation and concierge services,

  • luggage storage room,

  • garage with 168 parking spaces.

 

The apartments, which are offered for sale to private investors, will be furnished down to

the smallest detail - from high-quality furniture to complete kitchen and bathroom equipment.

Hérémance and Les 4 Vallées

Hérémance is located on the eastern slope of the valley of the same name, at an altitude of 1,400 to 2,000 meters above sea level. Its location is amazing - the panorama of the surrounding mountain giants, led by the aforementioned Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn, literally takes your breath away.

 

The nearest cable car of Les 4 Vallées is within the walking distance from the hotel complex. The ski area itself with a total of 410 kilometers of pistes connects seven resorts - Verbier, Bruson, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon and Hérémance. If you were to cross the entire area on skis to its western end within sight of the French border, you would have covered more than 30 kilometers in your feet.

 

You can choose between 86 blue, red and black pistes, which are served by 80 cable cars and lifts. The highest point you can reach by cable car all year round is called Mont-Fort. From its summit at a height of over 3,300 meters, you can enjoy a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of the most famous 4,000-meter peaks from Matterhorn to Dent Blanche, the Grand Combin and even Mont Blanc itself, which seems to be at your fingertips from here. Thanks to the high altitude and the snowmaking system, the winter season in Les 4 Vallées lasts from November to the end of April.

 

After a short break in May, the summer season is in full swing. The Hérémance valley and the neighbouring Hérens valley offer over 500 km of trails suitable for walks or mountain hikes, bike trips or horse riding. Also, excursions around the typical original irrigation canals "bisses" to beautiful lakes and waterfalls are very popular.

 

For the more daring ones, there is a via ferrata du Belvédère or the longest zipline in Switzerland over the majestic La Grande Dixence dam. Surf lovers will surely appreciate

the Alaiia Bay surf pool in nearby Sion.

 

Other attractions of the summer season include the natural thermal baths of Thermes d'Hérémence and the many wonderful golf courses in the Rhône valley from Sion to Leuk, above which we find another of the projects in our offer - an apartment house in Leukerbad.
